If a lightning storm, wet horse is a target, keep him / her inside until the storm passed. Also, in case a hurricane can strike, do not put your horse inside, let him / her in the pasture, though the steady drop, your horse is dead.

If you are talking about electrical storms, wet horse is a very big target. Where I live, on the Colorado Plateau, we get a lot of cases of people / animals struck by lightning during the summer monsoon storms. If they are wet and have no shelter, is like saying a great sign ------> victim HERE! If you are under a tree, it is worse. If your barn lightning protection (and not think anything is 100%) better in a closed space iżgħar.Jekk remember correctly, was Bars Fair (contactable Supreme Champion and own son of Three Bars) that had killed most corrugated metal that flew off a roof in a storm with strong wind ... caught him in the neck. A long shot, I'll grant you, but not just the weather you should be concerned with, but also items that can be blown around, and horses to panic.

Mine have the freedom to use the run-in or stand out. I never wanted a panic situation in the barn, so they were not limited. My barn stalls open in a paddock, which opened in Corral, which opened for grazing. I would just lock open all gradi.Fejn live now, are out. We have massive pines, oaks, and madrones ... In high winds ... I do not want them locked in the barn. I'm afraid tree can drop it.

personally I put my horses in the barn when I know we are fixin to have electrical storm or a storm with lightening. even if I have home field I usually find them all huddled around one tree waiting to get to kabobs horse. One answer was correct in the statement if it is a tornado are best left outside to think for themselves.

the safest thing to do large storms is to let the animals out and not enclosed barn .. more than once during a lightning storm i saw a barn and set it on fire i saw hurricane force winds blow in walls and doors and guess where we found them .. in the barn. i saw horses kick down stalls and injure themselves to the point of having to be put down. animals know much better than we do how to survive a storm.

The mine will only eat superworms or wax worms. Stop eating cockroaches, and that die quickly. I also wonder if superworms destroyed and the provision of adequate food.

I think it depends on where you live. Also the land and the acreage of land you on your horse. You need to determine what is the worst weather you have where you live and go from there. Call your local vet ask for storm-related injuries and how often they occur. Where I live lightning is the biggest threat, but my horses are in an empty and there are huge trees on the hill. They have shelters to go in and out as they please.

I am very surprised by ingnorance of some answers. It really does depend on the storm. For example, I heard that in tornados is safer to let your horses run free in a huge pasture rather than keep them in the barn, because there is less risk of injury. The answer depends on all kinds of circumstances.

Remember, if you have plants, they like food and waste and get some minerals in this way, but be sure to use dechlorinators has not changed too much, like every other week she depends on the amount of waste using siphon but YEAH change 25%. Get fish if you are looking for more of the same type as apearence if your other oval oval if you get another clean stream lined! : D

Depends on how old the little guy is. The important thing is to dust your food with calcium and other vitamins, as well as gut loading your food before giving them to your Leo. I personally have fed superworms me Leos was gutloaded, the insides that count. I'm sure it can be done is the same with cockroaches, but I do not like the smell or sounds. Stress is also another factor, after the temperature set properly, and hide wet to keep the shedding of his system, and a timer clock 12-14 to lamp the light of day it will really help.

My horse preferred to be outside in all kinds of weather. access to their stalls and run in. they usually chose the run-in, especially when it was really windy. i think horses tend to be stronger the more time they get to spend outdoors. do not forget barn could get hit by lightening and freak horses. the only think lightening rod does is turn the lightening strike the ground, this does not prevent barn being hit by lightening. if anything, is an attraction ...
