I think this is not the best idea. My cats get really upset when they leave home, I imagine leaving the house is a scary concept and very stressful.

Cats are creatures of habit longer to get them out of their familiar environment is not a bright idea unless absolutely necessary.

It depends on your cat. Most do not travel to other places, but if your cat does not seem to mind this, then take him. If you go a day you’ve probably had better leave it at home with a bowl of food and 2 bowls of water. We show cats and they are quite used to traveling and spending the night in a hotel or two . If your sister has no other animals, you can condition your cat to enjoy riding and just let her stay in a room at the house of your sister when you’re there.

Your cat, like car rides? One of my cats loves car rides and adventures as if it were a dog. However my other two cats do not get into the cars. My cat likes to go places is really attached to me and I think that’s why she’s ready to go.

It might be better leaving him where he might panic. When our cats have to go somewhere new, I take something familiar to them like a blanket that they sleep on and a couple of jouets.Assurez sure you have a secure medium for pets to travel, and a little water if it’s a long trip. If your cat becomes stressed, it can become a little dehydrated. You can buy a plug-in diffuser (like air freshener) from a veterinarian, called Feliway, which helps calm cats if they get excited. I used to find that mine would be set after an hour or two, as they had the chance to explore his new room (if just for a day, try to keep a single newsroom), could see the food and bedding bin, and was something familiar in his hand.

If you train kittens when they are young, taking them to different places to get used to being “out”, then the cats probably would not mind. Some of them really like it. However, I know from experience that many adult cats not accustomed to being away from home, they would be much more comfortable staying at home. If you’re worried about his house to be alone, leave a radio playing quietly in the background, and allow items unwashed clothes near where he sleeps (he has your scent on it and it is comforting for the cat). You have to also safe toys. … Honestly think to yourself – I’m willing to take the cat for my personal satisfaction, or for the benefit and well-being? Make your choice on this basis.
