If your cats are declawed on all fours is not a problem, but they have claws, you’ll see pinholes and even deeper cuts. My cats have ruined a chair, but it was free so I was not upset, but I will not have more leather where they can access it.

Cats and furniture are a bad idea, no matter the subject. You can try to put stuff on the edges to keep from scratching, but it can not work … or get an important post scratch. Anyway, the cats find a way to destroy the furniture. I know that-b / c my cats have fait.Je can not in good conscience, for example to get the new cat declawed b / c I do not think so.

I have leather furniture, but my cat prefers to scratch the wallpaper on the walls rather than attacking them, lol. If you cats are currently habbit of scratching your couch, I suggest you stick to fabric.

leather lounge is not invincible, but it will be a better option. Mine survived more than two young cats, but a pinhole some love. Have a gun or two near the water and good luck.

We have a kitten of 4 months, when she tries to mount the leather, it slips, we cut his nails every week and they can not penetrate the leather, so far so good.

I have two leather sofas and a small cat – who has managed to wreak havoc on the few days of his arrival! I wish I had purchased fabric sofas instead

I was advised to buy the leather as I was told that cats hate the strike. But I guess all cats are different and some will probably leather zero. I would say that if you buy fabric sofas, then they scratch but if you get leather, so they can be scratched.

we have cats and leather and cats but we totally ripped immediately cover it with jets and things after a day if they dont rip more! We had to replace the dining room chairs because they were too wrecked overnight! I would use cutlery / cast to protect any type of fabric you do not want to damage, and have a scratching post. they can damage leather faster than any other form of fabric just a scratch them and you’ll have marks on the leather are very visible!

I have 2 cats and they never tried to scratch our leather sofas, as they use their positions instead of zero. However, I made some free throws to cover the sofas in the event of accidental damage claws that can occur when they jump on canapés.Gardez in mind that cats have scent glands on their feet, once that ‘they begin to scratch somewhere, it leaves a smell that must be supplemented from time to time. For this reason, each cat needs its own station from scratch and it’s worth encouraging them to persevere in using it, because once it is impregnated with the fragrance brand, they will still scratch.

I have a 4 month old kitten, she does not scratch our leather sofas, it has its own post n scrath she knows hers thats zero to zero if it does not work on anything else, except of our suitcases and jeans (when our legs):)

I would not recommend it. Unless your cats are declawed, it would be better to stick to a fabric couch. They’ll pick up. Take for example my computer chair in leather. I have a cat and it scratched the back of it and now I must get a new one.

I have leather sofas and cats and I must warn you that once a cat scratching a leather couch, there’s nothing you can do to patch it – I’m lucky because my sofa Leather only minor scratches odd one where my cat jumped to get to the window, but the thing is, the scratches are evident, most because it is a dark-colored leather, where he is corrupted, color is now less about the scratches as they are when people sitting at their encontre.Cela said, none of my cats scratch the sofa is deliberatley (although these two striped fabrics) because I bought the zero new messages and encouraged to play with eux.Une last thing, your cat can give your leather sofa a wide berth for a while because they dislike the smell of leather, but once that they are used, they have no problem jumping on it.

If your cats were young, I would not recommend because of the leather shoe. But your cats are now aged in années.J ‘ve got my leather sofas when my cats were getter older and it was fine. They do nails (they did the claw fabric sofas before) and I saved the mess to clear up the fur on the fabric. The only thing is sometimes they catch a claw on the leather and scratches a bit, but everything is said and done I would buy again in leather.
