Cats generally gain weight after they have been “fixed”. that’s probably what it is. she is just irritated you – cats have such an attitude sometimes. I would not worry too much, unless she starts acting really weird. you may want to have checked if there is something else. try playing with it more often to keep its most active.

Cats can have mood swings and weight gain if they are neutered when they are cats (as opposed to kittens). Most vets do a total hysterectomy (no stomach or ovaries = no kittens ) but I guess some can tie off the tubes, which means that everything could still be in a state of marche.Je suppose it could even be a false pregnancy / fantôme.Je would take him to the vet to be sure – it should cost you £ 5 – £ 10 for a consultation.

neutered cats have a uterus, do not expect to litters. Neutered cats and neutured tend to be a little looser, unlike hyperactive intact cats / kittens. Try to place food and water at one end of the house and her litter box at the other end. Many brands offer different types of cats schemes based lifestyle of the cat. Try indoor cats version of your favorite brand. If a regular grocerystore or department store does not a variety, try the petstore. Your cat should be fine

When I sterilize my cat has really gone overboard with the pounds! She now weighs a merry dance 8kilos … beautiful chubby fur! It is quite normal if it happens to all cats spayed / neutered. You must stay active to help avoid some of the books, play with it every day and so it is important that eventually it will grow so big to not be able to exercise and end of breath quickly. It also puts great pressure on his heart to keep his belt!

My husband and I get to the opposite ends of our lane and throwing balls or mice around catnip for cats to play with.
