Do you think vitamin drops in water parakeets are a good idea or a waste of money?

I’m probably not the best person to answer that because I’m not a parrot expert, and I’ve never owned a parrot. But I have a cockatiel who are not very different parakeets. I do not use vitamin drops, but if yours does not eat fruit or vegetables, I recommend you do it seriously, because they really need a source of nutrients, because no matter the quality of your food for birds is, it is not enough. You should try to make it as much vitamins as possible so that you absolutely must get the drops of water. But your right not even drink much water, so maybe a better way to provide vitamins and nutrients would be to mix his food with Nutri-berries or some sort of healthy snack to mix with his food.

Question:
My parakeets will not touch fruit or vegetables, no matter what I try and I’m giving them special vitamin drops in their water birds, but as they drink so little, is it really worth? Any parrot experts out there?
